IntelliSee Privacy & Data Policy

Privacy is engineered into the platform — no facial recognition, no biometric capture, no PII or PHI ever leaves the customer network. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information on intellisee.com.

1. Overview

IntelliSee operates as an AI-powered computer vision platform for real-time threat detection. This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through our website and services.

Privacy First Commitment: We do not use facial recognition technology, do not collect biometric identifiers, and do not store personal identities in our detection systems. Our platform analyzes threats without identifying individuals.

2. What Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Information: Login credentials and company administrative details.
  • Payment Information: Processed securely through third-party providers (never stored by IntelliSee).
  • Communications: Content of emails, calls, and chat interactions we retain for service improvement.

  • Cookies & Tracking: Session, performance, and marketing cookies for functionality and personalization.
  • Platform Logs: Detection events, timestamps, and confidence scores (without facial recognition or biometrics).

C. Information from Third Parties

  • Data enrichment services providing company size, industry, and location data.
  • HubSpot CRM integration for lead tracking.
  • LinkedIn and advertising platforms for audience insights.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Service Delivery: Providing and improving our threat detection platform and customer support.
  • Communications: Responding to inquiries, sending product updates, and following up on demo requests.
  • Marketing: Sending promotional emails and personalized recommendations (opt-out available).
  • Analytics & Improvements: Understanding user behavior and optimizing our product.
  • Legal Compliance: Meeting regulatory requirements and resolving disputes.
  • Fraud Prevention: Detecting unauthorized access and security threats.

4. Data Protection & Security

IntelliSee employs industry-standard security measures:

  • Encryption: TLS/SSL for data in transit; AES-256 for data at rest.
  • Access Controls: Only authorized employees access personal data on a need-to-know basis.
  • On-Premises Processing: Detection events processed locally, not transmitted to cloud servers.
  • Regular Audits: Annual security assessments and penetration testing.
  • DHS QATT Designation: Registered with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology program.

Important: No security system is 100% secure. While we implement strong protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Contact us immediately at privacy@intellisee.com if you believe your information has been compromised.

5. Your Rights & Choices

A. Access & Correction

You have the right to request access to the personal data IntelliSee holds about you and to request correction of inaccurate information. Submit requests to privacy@intellisee.com. We respond within 15 business days for opt-out requests and within 45 days for access, correction, deletion, and portability requests.

B. Opt-Out of Marketing

Unsubscribe from marketing emails by clicking “Unsubscribe” in any email or by emailing privacy@intellisee.com. Transactional emails (password resets, service updates, responses to your inquiries) are not covered by the marketing opt-out.

C. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

IntelliSee detects and honors the Global Privacy Control browser signal on every page request. A GPC signal is treated as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing under the CCPA, CPA, CTDPA, and all other state laws that recognize Universal Opt-Out Mechanisms. When a GPC signal is detected, a confirmation indicator appears briefly at the bottom-left of the page.

D. Cookie Preferences

Manage cookie preferences through the consent banner (click “Manage Consent” in the footer), through your browser settings, or by enabling GPC. See our Cookie Policy for full detail on each cookie and tracking technology used.

E. Data Deletion

Request deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@intellisee.com. We comply within 45 days, subject to exceptions for legal retention obligations (tax records, security logs, fraud prevention). If we cannot delete specific categories of data, we explain why in writing.

F. Non-Discrimination

We do not deny service, charge different prices, or provide different quality because you exercise any privacy right. Your decision to opt out of sale/sharing, delete your data, or limit marketing has no effect on access to our website or services.

6. US State Privacy Rights

Residents of several US states have additional rights under their state privacy laws. IntelliSee honors all of the following regardless of which state you reside in — but the specific legal basis varies by state.

A. States Covered

GPC is treated as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing under each applicable law.

E. How to Exercise These Rights

Visit Your Privacy Choices or email privacy@intellisee.com. We do not require an account. We verify identity by matching the identifiers in your request (email address, cookie ID, prior correspondence) against our records. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with signed written authorization.

F. Response Timeline and Appeals

Opt-out: honored immediately, confirmed within 15 business days. Access, correction, deletion, portability: substantive response within 45 days, extendable once by 45 days with written notice. If we decline your request, you may appeal within 60 days by replying to our decision with the subject line “Privacy Request Appeal.”

G. Biometric Privacy (Illinois BIPA, Texas CUBI, Washington)

IntelliSee’s AI detection platform is architected to avoid collection of biometric identifiers. No facial recognition. No fingerprint, retinal, iris, or voiceprint capture. No consumer health data processing. If you have specific questions about biometric handling in a particular deployment, contact privacy@intellisee.com.

10. Data Retention

IntelliSee retains personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with legal obligations, and to resolve disputes.

Retention Periods by Category

  • Contact form submissions and demo requests: 36 months from the last interaction. Automatically purged unless the record has been converted into an active customer relationship.
  • Marketing email subscribers: Until unsubscribe, plus 12 months in a suppression list to prevent accidental re-contact.
  • Customer account records: Duration of the contractual relationship plus 7 years for tax and legal retention requirements.
  • Website analytics (Google Analytics 4): 14 months (configured in GA4 data retention settings).
  • HubSpot CRM records: Retained during active engagement plus 24 months after last activity, then archived.
  • Microsoft Clarity session recordings: 365 days (Microsoft default; not user-configurable).
  • Consent records (Complianz): 365 days from last consent event.
  • Security and fraud prevention logs: 24 months, or longer if under active investigation.
  • Financial and transaction records: 7 years (IRS and state tax retention requirements).

Detection Event Data (Platform, not Website)

The IntelliSee AI platform itself does not retain facial, biometric, or PHI data because none is ever collected. Detection event metadata (timestamp, object class, camera location, confidence score) is stored on customer-controlled on-premises appliances under retention schedules that each customer sets in their own environment. IntelliSee as a company does not hold copies.

Your Right to Request Earlier Deletion

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time. We comply within 45 days unless a legal retention requirement prevents it, in which case we explain the basis in writing.

11. Children

IntelliSee is a B2B service directed at commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial customers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16.

Under Oregon’s amended privacy law (effective January 1, 2026), we do not sell the personal information of any consumer we know or willfully disregard is under 16. Under Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, and Montana laws, we require opt-in consent for any processing of data from known minors aged 13 to 18 for targeted advertising or sale. We comply with the federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) for any data we may inadvertently receive from a child under 13 — we delete it upon discovery.

If you believe we may have collected information from your child, contact privacy@intellisee.com and we will investigate and delete within 15 business days.

Intelligence Brief

Privacy by Design: Threat Detection Without Facial Recognition

IntelliSee detects threat types and object classes — weapons, unauthorized access, falls, loitering, and more — not individual identities. No facial recognition. No biometric capture. No PII or PHI storage. No cloud video retention. All processing occurs on a secure, on-premises appliance within your network perimeter.

The platform is built on U.S.-based hardware, software, hosting, and support. It has been penetration tested and carries DHS SAFETY Act Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology (QATT) designation — one of a small number of AI security platforms to achieve this standard.
